Multidisciplinary Assessment

our process

Before commencing a programme, each child undergoes an assessment by our multidisciplinary team.

This allows us to identify each child’s strengths, needs and barriers to learning. From this, we determine the most effective approach to treatment.

Upon intake, each child is assessed by our Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), a world-leading research specialist in Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI) and a Speech and Language Therapist.

Your child will undergo a comprehensive standardised assessment comprising:

  • The Vineland Adaptive Behaviour Scales, Third Edition
  • The Verbal Behaviour Milestones Assessment and Placement Programme (VB-MAPP)
  • The Childhood Autism Rating Scales, Second Edition    (CARS-2)
  • The Aberrant Behaviour Checklist

The assessment results allow parents and professionals to pinpoint obstacles that have been preventing a child from acquiring new skills and to develop a comprehensive, highly personalized, language-based curriculum that targets remediating the symptoms of ASD.
