Casey Minifie

Casey is an enthusiastic clinician who is passionate about creating socially significant changes in the lives of children and families. Casey has been working in the specialized field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) since 2013. He is qualified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Casey began studying ABA in 2013 at George Brown College where he obtained a 3-year advanced diploma in Behavioural Science Technology. Casey went on to achieve a Bachelor of Arts degree in ABA with a focus in autism from Capilano University where he received the Deans Award of Excellence for graduating with the highest GPA in his graduating class. Casey also holds a Master of Professional Education in the field of ABA from Western University.

Casey has originally been trained in intensive behavioral intervention at multidisciplinary treatment centres in Ontario, Canada. In addition to intensive behavioural intervention, Casey has worked in group homes, schools, a child welfare agency, for private families and as a behavior consultant.  Casey has over 8-years of experience working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Casey is passionate about delivering evidence-based, best practice services to children diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Casey is very excited to work with the talented First Bridge team where he is continually inspired by the children and families he works with.
