Now welcoming enquiries for 2025–26 enrolment!
Why Choose First Bridge?
First Bridge Education is an independent specialist nursery and school in Chelsea, London for children aged 2 to 9 with suspected or diagnosed autism or other special educational needs (SEN).
Our unique approach integrates evidence-based Applied Behaviour Analysis therapy with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and National Curriculum, creating a nurturing, structured environment where children can thrive.
We welcome families seeking clarity, support, and meaningful long-term progress, even if your child doesn’t have a diagnosis or EHCP.
Is First Bridge Right for Your Family?
Our approach is ideal for families who:
Are looking for intensive, personalised ABA therapy
Want early years provision that operates throughout the year
Are seeking accessible and differentiated teaching of the EYFS and National Curriculum
Value an integrated educational and therapeutic approach
Are actively involved in their child’s learning and development
Prioritise long-term developmental progress over short-term solutions
Our Admissions Process
A clear, supportive path to enrolment
We understand that families often reach out before receiving a formal diagnosis or may not want to pursue one.
You do not need an autism diagnosis or EHCP to begin the admissions process.
1. Initial Enquiry
Contact our friendly admissions team to discuss your child’s needs. They will be able to answer any questions you may have.
2. Information Sharing
You will complete a brief enquiry form and can share any relevant developmental reports (if available).
3. Visit Us
Join us at our Imperial Wharf nursery and school for a guided tour. See our classrooms in action, meet our therapists, and explore our learning spaces.
4. Suitability Assessment
We invite your child for a gentle 60-minute session with our team to observe strengths, learning style, and engagement.
This is not a diagnostic assessment.
Privately funded places are subject to VAT and a non-refundable assessment fee.
5. Offer of Placement
If we’re the right fit, we’ll offer you a personalised placement proposal, including schedule, fees, and a tailored transition plan.
If you’re exploring Local Authority funding, we can liaise with your SEN caseworker as part of the process.
6. Onboarding and Start
Families receive a full welcome pack and attend an orientation with your assigned BCBA®. Therapy begins with a phased, child-led start.
