Parents & Carers
Upcoming Events
First Bridge regularly hosts events for parents with children attending the Centre. We also organise events for parents/carers and professionals who are interested in getting to know us, what we do, and how we can help. We regularly hold ‘meet and greets’ and parent training workshops to help inform and educate, as well as build relationships within our local community.
First Bridge Education is excited to announce our FREE webinar: “Supporting Your Child Without a Diagnosis: Navigating the Unknown“.
Are you worried about your child’s development, but still waiting for answers?
This webinar is for parents and carers who suspect their child may have additional needs but have not yet received or are not seeking a formal diagnosis. Whether you are on a waiting list, facing delays with referrals, or unsure where to turn next, this session will help you:
- Understand how to support your child’s development right now
- Identify practical strategies that make a difference at home and in nursery/school
- Build confidence in your instincts, even without a diagnostic label
- Learn how early intervention can help, regardless of where you are on the diagnostic journey
You are not alone in the uncertainty. Let us help you navigate it with clarity, compassion, and expert guidance.
Presented by our School Principal and Clinical Director, Mikaela Green, MSc., BCBA, this webinar is perfect for:
- Early Years Practitioners & Educators
- SENCOs & Inclusion Leads
- Childcare Providers
- Health Visitors & Allied Health Professionals
- Parents and Carers interested in child development
- Local Authority and SEND professionals
Join us online on Thursday, November 20th at 6 pm!
