Parents & Carers
Upcoming Events
First Bridge regularly hosts events for parents with children attending the Centre. We also organise events for parents/carers and professionals who are interested in getting to know us, what we do, and how we can help. We regularly hold ‘meet and greets’ and parent training workshops to help inform and educate, as well as build relationships within our local community.
First Bridge Education is excited to announce our FREE webinar: “Inside the Suitability Assessment: What to Expect and How It Helps“.
Curious about what a Suitability Assessment actually involves and how it can support your child’s development?
This webinar is designed to walk parents and carers through the full process of a Suitability Assessment at First Bridge Education. Whether you are considering applying, have already booked an assessment, or are simply exploring your options, this session will help you understand:
- What happens during a Suitability Assessment
- How we determine whether our setting is the right fit for your child
- What insights the assessment can provide, even if you choose not to enrol
You will also learn how the assessment process supports children with autism, global developmental delay, speech and language needs, and related neurodevelopmental profiles.
By the end of the session, you will feel more confident about what to expect — and more empowered to make the best decision for your child’s next step.
Presented by our School Principal and Clinical Director, Mikaela Green, MSc., BCBA, this webinar is perfect for:
- Early Years Practitioners & Educators
- SENCOs & Inclusion Leads
- Childcare Providers
- Health Visitors & Allied Health Professionals
- Parents and Carers interested in child development
- Local Authority and SEND professionals
Join us on Tuesday, October 14th at 6 pm!
